QUESTA E' LA TRASCRIZIONE DI QUELLO CHE VIENE DETTO NEL VIDEO! SE DOPO RIESCO FACCIO ANCHE UNA TRADUZIONE PER CHI NON MASTICA L'INGLESE..P.S: SIA LA SILVER CHE LA BLACK AVRANNO L'LCD!
To be precise, this model is an «updated Hero 3 White Edition», though now it has a very simple name – GoPro Hero
without numbers or other additions. It has many differences, compared to the other models.
Firstly, at the moment this is the only, and probably the first black GoPro Hero. It is matte black or even dark grey.
And it looks pretty cool!
Secondly, again it is the first GoPro which is embedded
into the protective case and you can not separate them.
This is a single integral body.
In general, the size of it is the same as the Hero 3+ in a protective case,
fixing is the the same.
The back cover is removable – here you can see the connector for MicroSD
and traditional mini USB. Cards up to 32GB are supported in this model.
By the way all interfaces are situated on the back of the device,
not on the side as in previous versions. Also, you cannot insert the display anymore, there is no connector for it.
HDMI disappeared too.
Surprisingly, this GoPro does not have the Wi-Fi access. At all.
The only way to control the device is directly by the physical means. As usual,
the device supports the classical two-button control.
Because of this, there is only one LED left on the case instead of two.
The camera's index is HWBL1 and on the 16th of September
this device has passed the certification in South Korea,
which means that the first Hero will appear on the market in the end of October or in the beginning of November.
In fact, there are no new features compared to the Hero 3 White Edition:
all the same features are minimized, the same immersibility
up to 40 meters under water, and the video quality remains the same – a cheap version
of the 4th gen. Hero shoots FullHD with a Bit rate 15 MBit
and in comparison with Hero 3+ Black Edition it is as different as day and night.
Although, it is worth noting, that in any case - it is not bad.
As for the photo, on the 5 MP sensor they come out like this. The conditions for shooting were almost perfect.
There are several regimes of video recording: 1080p with the frame rate of 30, its quality is great,
720p with 60 frames and a new regime of 720p with 60 frames with ultra-wide angle.
The other formats of the Hero 3 White Edition, including 960p 30 fps, 720p 30 fps and WVGA 60 fps - have been removed.
They have been removed not for the sake of cheaper price but because they are simply not needed anymore.
In relation to the photo, in the Burst Mode the camera can now shoot 5 frames per second, whereas White Edition could only do 3 frames.
The nicest thing about this model is its price:
the new camera will cost less than 200$ or even as little as 100$.
It does not have several of the key functions, but it has the most important ones - the quality of photo and video.
Together with the lighter version of Hero several other models will go on sale, including GoPro Hero Black and Silver Editions.
These will have the former design, former prices but will gain new exciting facilities: Black will be able to record 4K video with 30 FPS and Full HD with 120 FPS. Both models will also have an embedded touch screen.
GoPro Hero, just Hero of the 4th generation in the black case and with the price below $200 should become a new hit.
Are there any disadvantages in this model?
There definitely are: there is no Wi-Fi and the battery is not removable, but that's about it.
Everything else is there: the excellent quality, the low price and the new design,
(and we all love something new, don't we).
The new GoPro Hero is the alternative of any cheap action-camera, but from the famous GoPro.
